After starting the upgrade process review the steps documented in the installation package. The installation package will provide all the information that you need to upgrade TotalEdit Pro. The following text provides a brief overview of what you need to do should you wish to keep your existing settings.
TotalEdit Pro uses a file called AppSettings.xml to maintain the configuration parameters used to present the application. This file is saved inside of the local application data directory, which is unique to each user and different for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 alike. Use the following table to identify where the AppSettings.xml file is saved based on your operating system and TotalEdit Pro version.
You will need to manually copy your settings over to TotalEdit Pro v5.2. Once the settings have been copied you can uninstall the previous version by following help supplied by Microsoft and available below:
